Our Mission
At Harmony Home of Huntington INC, our goal is to offer recovery to alcoholics and addicts through a twelve-step program and to provide a safe place for men to acquire sobriety while learning to live a stable and successful life.
Who We Are
About Us:
Harmony Home of Huntington is a 12-step recovery home for men. We offer a unique experience for men seeking recovery from alcohol and/or drug addiction. We are committed to providing each resident a safe and supportive environment creating the opportunity for rehabilitation and lifelong sobriety. The program duration ranges from nine to eighteen months. Our structured approach to building a strong and lasting foundation for recovery is based on a 12-step philosophy of daily living and includes relapse prevention training, addiction education, and group therapy.
UNDERSTANDING ADDICTION
Addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease. Brain imaging shows that addiction severely alters brain areas critical to: Decision Making, Learning, Memory and Behavior. This may help to explain the compulsive and destructive behaviors of addiction.
